                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2, 
                   CONTRACT 37D1, LOWER AMNICOLA PARALLEL 
                   INTERCEPTOR, WITH W. L. HAILEY AND COMPANY, 
                   INC. AND RAST CONSTRUCTION, INC., A JOINT 
                   VENTURE, TO DECREASE THE CONTRACT IN THE 
                   AMOUNT OF SIX THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED 
                   SEVENTY-THREE AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($6,573.00) 
                   FOR A TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT OF NINE HUNDRED 
                   THIRTEEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY-TWO AND 
                   NO/100 DOLLARS ($913,462.00), AND TO 
                   INCREASE THE CONTRACT TIME BY THREE (3) 
                   CALENDAR DAYS CHANGING THE COMPLETION DATE

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
       Change Order No. 2, Contract 37D1, Lower Amnicola Parallel 
       Interceptor, with W. L. Hailey and Company, Inc. and Rast 
       Construction, Inc., a joint venture, to decrease the contract in 
       the amount of $6,573.00 for a total contract amount of 
       $913,462.00, and to increase the contract time by 3 calendar days 
       changing the completion date to October 29, 1991.
